Oh my what a long week! It started off with me giving into Nathan and allowing a dog to come to our house. She was a beautiful dog, but too young for our family and after 2 days of craziness we decided we need to re-think owning a dog (especially one that is under a year or even 2 years old).
I went back to the doctors to review my CT scan, it showed multiple calyceal diverticulum. Basically there are several small pockets in my kidney, some contain stones. We are at a holding pattern as far as treatment goes, I have to track my back pain for the next three months. The doctor does not feel it is a good idea to start drilling holes in my kidney to find the stones.
Big Daddy is finally getting better! He hasn't had to use crouches or a boot in almost 2 weeks. Hopefully after another few weeks he can start taking the medicine that will hopefully prevent any further gout attacks.
We have begun our back splash, finally!! It looks really good, although a complete pain in the A$$ to do. Hopefully we can finish getting up the tiles this weekend and grout next weekend. Then I need to decide on paint colors.
D finally got to have her helper day at school, her last 3 were cancelled do to snow days and an illness. We mad shamrock rice krispie treats to take for snack, they were a big hit. She and I both read to the class, I was so proud of her! She only got nervous during one page, but got her confidence right back. I wish I had the teacher video tape it.
